A Lifetime Of Brotherhood and Leadership Begins Here!

It is a good time to be a part of PKP, Gamma Gamma. We, as your alumni chapter, are looking for new ways to keep our chapter strong for another generation of young men. We are committed to building CLASS in the men who pass through our walls, and do what needs to be done to form leaders for the future. At the same time, we commit ourselves to continue to recognize the bonds of lifelong brotherhood through alumni activities and retreats throughout the year. We hope that you can be a part of our future here at Gamma Gamma. Please use this web page as your portal to all that is Gamma Gamma, and feel free to call on the Executive Council with questions, concerns, or suggestions on how we can best serve you.

We believe that the greatest enemy of success is complacency, mediocrity, and blind acceptance of the “current state of affairs.” For all of you who have rediscovered Gamma Gamma in the past few years, we are asking that you recommit to helping us accomplish our new goals. Specifically, the Gamma Gamma Fraternity Complex (no longer a fraternity housing project) is not yet finished. Alumni support is strong, but we need to continue to build a culture of lifelong giving. We as your alumni chapter are pledging ourselves over the next two years to the following goals so as to get this done;

- Active Members in the Alumni Chapter increased to 50% of living alumni. (350 members)
- 100% of the Gamma Gamma LLC $5,000 prescription slots filled. (50 members), and 50% of the $1,000 prescription slots filled (175) – For more information on how we have set up this housing fund, please see the Long Term Housing Link.
- Creating the “Gamma Gamma Network” – an online service for members to post new member recruitment information, game tickets for sale, etc.
- Increasing use of available resources for Communication
- Increasing participation in all 3 of our major social/networking opportunities throughout the year, i.e. beach party, alumni retreat, homecoming
- Support networking opportunities at Troy University events – i.e. set up tailgates at away football games, etc.

These goals are real and attainable but meaningless if the active chapter reneges on their commitments. The active chapter is strong, but without our guidance and mentoring could very easily slip into obscurity. It is for this reason that we must commit to work with the actives, through their on-campus advisors, to help them recognize the importance of;

- Increased campus involvement, i.e. SGA, IFC, and Troy athletics.
- Increased commitment to year around Rush
- Increased community involvement
- Compete for intramurals and All Sports each year
- Respect for the house/social room

We can only do this with your help and active participation. We want you to join our chapter (only $50 per year), contribute what you can to the Housing Fund (Gamma Gamma, LLC), and be a part of a very exciting time to be Gamma Gamma, Pi Kappa Phi. Thank you for visiting our site.

Fraternally Yours,

Your Executive Council
John P. Browning, President
Todd Mote, VP Special Projects
Alan Ruud, VP Communications
Will Hickman, Secretary/Treasurer
